Research that i collected to build my promo.

I wanted the Promo to look like the Wolverhampton University brand as much as possible and original so I decided to use a blue background with waves going across downwards.

I also created stars on top of the background to give it that WLV look. I animated the stars and created them using Adobe After Effects.

I also created the title to be animated as well by using key frame as they go along becoming large 

The stars were also created using shapes and I filled them in with colour blending into the background to have the right colour tone. a few stars appear spinning around using effects key frames for animation.

I created the other eye catchers using each frame. I would write bit by bit on each frame till the full sentence is created and finished.

I was inspired by this video and thought i will use the same idea but without the paint brush or pencil.

The way I created my rotoscope was inspirsed by the band (Ah - ha) who created the music video "Take on me". I liked the animation as they have used the exact real person and turned him into a cartoon.

I made my rotoscope by covering the real life character "Micah" in drawing digitally using TV Paint. each frame had digital drawing covering up the live form character. The screen shot below shows how it was done.

Prior to that, I got a Video camera and recorded Micah doing the acting which he done a suburb job on. I then composed all the raw footages and brought them together and cut the whole footage to around a minute long.
